As the Fourth of July approaches, the Phoenix Metro Area is gearing up for a series of spectacular fireworks displays and festive events to honor Independence Day.

 

Here's a curated list of celebrations happening across the Valley:

 

Fabulous Phoenix 4th

Location: Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix

Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: This free event features one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest, live entertainment, a kids' zone, and a variety of food vendors. Fireworks commence at 9:30 p.m.

 

Tempe 4th of July Celebration

Location: Tempe Diablo Stadium, 2200 W. Alameda Drive, Tempe

Time: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, and a drone show at 9:15 p.m., followed by fireworks. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event.

 

Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld

Location: WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale

Time: Doors open at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Experience bull-riding, mutton busting, a slider-eating contest, and more before the fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Tickets for the indoor backyard BBQ are $50 for ages 11 and up, and $30 for kids 6 to 10. Parking is $20 per vehicle.

 

Arizona Celebration of Freedom

Location: Downtown Mesa, 263 N. Center Street, Mesa

Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: This free event includes live music, a patriotic superhero stunt show, picnic games, a tailgate zone, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

 

Gilbert 4th of July Celebration

Location: Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert

Time: 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Featuring live performances, a drone show, and fireworks at 8:50 p.m. Free entry; on-site parking is available for $15.

 

Fourth at the Fountain

Location: Fountain Park, 12925 N. Saguaro Boulevard, Fountain Hills

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Enjoy live music, food vendors, and a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Admission is free.

 

Celebrate America at Lake Pleasant

Location: Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant, 8708 W. Harbor Boulevard, Peoria

Time: 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3

Details: Festivities include waterslides, kids' activities, food trucks, live music, and fireworks at 9 p.m. Presale parking admission is $30 per vehicle and $35 for vehicles with watercraft.

 

Goodyear's Star Spangled Fourth

Location: Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 S. Ballpark Way, Goodyear

Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Enjoy live music, food trucks, and a patriotic drone show at 8:45 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

 

Westgate Firework Fest

Location: Westgate Entertainment District, 6770 N. Sunrise Boulevard, Glendale

Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: The event features an open-air beer garden, live music, games, and fireworks at 9 p.m. Admission is free.

 

Anthem's Independence Day Celebration

Location: Anthem Community Park, 41703 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway, Anthem

Time: 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3

Details: Festivities include rides, food vendors, a beer garden, live music, water slides, and roaming entertainers. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

 

Hometown 4th at Schnepf Farms

Location: Schnepf Farms, 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek

Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Enjoy live music, food, water inflatables, and a fireworks display. Car passes start at $45.45; VIP passes are available.

 

Avondale's Light Up the Sky Independence Day Celebration

Location: Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive, Avondale

Time: Gates open at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Families are encouraged to bring folding chairs, coolers, and snacks. Grills and open-fire cooking are prohibited. Fireworks begin at 8:25 p.m. Admission is free.

 

Surprise's Independence Day Celebration

Location: Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue, Surprise

Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Festivities include a DJ, games, inflatables for kids, and food trucks. Fireworks begin at 8:45 p.m. Admission is free.

 

Chandler's All-American Bash

Location: Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza, 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue, Chandler

Time: 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4

Details: Enjoy live music, games, food, and a 15-minute pyrotechnic show at 8:15 p.m. Admission is free.
